Being the inaugral post for my first blog, I thought I'ld start out with a recap of my life so far. In preparation for the coming steps ahead, everything I've learnt over the years and experienced has definately made me the person I am today. 2006 has been a plateau year for me. Ever felt like time passes by in a flash and yet you can hardly see any self-improvement and near zero career advancement? that year was very much like that. I had a stable tutoring job at Monash which paid the bills, but doesnt tickle my intellect enough. Paired with the fact that the quality of students has been going downhill, its really hard to find good young people who are sincerely willing to learn. This just demotivates me at work.
My vacation to California to visit Lynn & Jack and to Colorado to see DK was nothing less than great. Its so nice to hang out with family, especially family whom you respect and enjoy the company of. I've talked about my trip in the WuOoi blog alot, and will not repeat myself here. Although I'll add some illustrations.
Squaw Valley Ski resort; Christmas eve 06; DK nursing my bruises from my first snowboarding experience. The view was fantastic, felt abit jakun..haha..but was soaking up the peace and fun.
