Work is fortunately filled with nice people to work with. (minus 1 cranky boss) At times when we think no one is looking, James and I indulge in a little picture montage!. basically, we have fun with the camera ...c'mon,..how can this not put a smile on our faces?
Seriously!..ahhh Mystie...too bad you're no longer here..

Fukuya Restaurant

Vat vould ve voo on V Day? Vhy, eat of course!! Che sussed out this amazing gourmet Japanese restaurant on Jln Delima, Ampang. 6 courses costs us not an arm and a leg, but maybe a small toe. However, the experience was really worth it. Too bad Dad passed it up for a night with ugly, fat and unburly men.

Adventures from Phuc-ket!,....continues.

Phuket was awesome, we should definately do an annual family vacation. Okay, I shouldn't call it an adventure since we didnt go to Phi Phi Island...(doh! I brought it up again)

The nuisance of degenerates

For a few weeks now, Ive been receiving anonymous comments on the blog, always prompting the reader to click on a link. PLS DO NOT CLICK IT. Don't know where it will lead you, don't know what you'll get.

I'll do my best to delete it as soon as I get to it.

Happy birthday Kah-chui-na

Was Cat's birthday a few weeks ago after we both came back from KL. We went to a random French restaurant by recommendation from eatability.com.au. The place was called Caliniere, cosy and nice...but with the two of us yackity yacking away , i bet the other patrons were cursing "Kan ni ne!" hahaha. Terence was in town, so we spent the week hanging out, mostly eating. Seen here at Passionflower, the much talked about ice cream bar. Honestly, it aint all that.

This little baby carrot is dedicated to you my dear! (That's Cat, not Danny!) Har har har. Notice how painfully little the carrot is? Brings back memories doesn't it? I promise I'll visit Melb soon. Promise!

I found the next big child star!

Just finished watching a surprisingly wonderful movie, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium starring Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman and Jason Bateman of Arrested development fame. Dustin was fab as the fumbling Mr. M but it was the performance of 13 yr old Zach Mills as Eric the Hat collector that totally made it a great film. Not only extremely cute, his character exudes a maturity thats endearing and really funny. He's my new fav. child star! Okay okay, this boy is so good his acting made me cry!

2 thumbs and 2 big toes up for this special one. Would watch it again just to see him.

Binge, bang alakazam!

Returning home for 2 1/2 weeks ..one can only think of the swirly memories of how fresh nasi lemak tickles the nose. Returning home as usual, a party in my mouth every meal..kept me very very happy. Of course, Danny was there too! He's like the cilantro garnish on chicken rice which makes it taste ooohh so much more yum. Our eating binge can only be accomplished by the presence of a team of bingers, Mom & Dad , Che & Jack and of course Danny & I. Our meals generally average the annual carb and fat consumption of 5 Somali children during corn harvest season. How bout that!
Our eatcapades spans the Klang Valley and up north in Penang, crammed in a SLK (small little kembara) our stomachs were as determined as our little engine that could.

My all-time fav. mee goreng stall on Gurney Drive, originally on Egdecumbe Rd.

Food is the best compliment to a great time out, and being home around family and friends makes the heart grow fonder.
